I absolutely loved my session with Mayumi!!! The passion and love she has for photography really shines through, as well as her creativity and broad imagination, as she helped me pick out outfits, backgrounds, and poses. She did an amazing job making sure I was comfortable and having fun, and even put my favorite music (The Beatles) in the background to set the mood! Not only was the session super fun and made me feel like a supermodel haha, but the pictures were even better than I could imagine! She even made a really cute video/slideshow to present the pictures in the coolest way ever.I am in love with them as well as the rest of my family and we really appreciate everything Mayumi did for us. Our daughter had the most wonderful Senior Photo session with Mayumi. There was not a single detail that was overlooked. Beginning with the consultation, Mayumi was able to accommodate our daughters unique requests and took the time to find out details about her style and wishes. On the day of the shoot, everything was so well planned to coordinate multiple locations, in studio, outdoor, and natural light variations and the timing required for each. I was impressed at her ability to pack such variety into one session. Mayumi is organized and thorough and an absolute delight to work with. Her creative vision resulted in an exceptional number of stunning images to choose. She made my daughter feel at ease and relaxed, and gave her clear directions regarding poses while still allowing her own personality to shine. I was photographed the first time by Mayumi on my 15th birthday and it was an experience I will never forget, so much so that I come back every year to her studio to discover and document the woman I’m becoming and more recently to celebrate my graduation. I feel that through these photographs I’ve learned to appreciate and love myself more. Every shoot has allowed me to be authentic and has given me a feeling of empowerment. I now realize that beauty is not on the outside but as Mayumi told me, is captured from the inside when you are your true self. I know one day these photographs will tell my story and will be priceless to me and my entire family.

I had a wonderful time with Mayumi! The whole experience was fun, professional, and outstanding overall. My hair and makeup was done perfectly, and I felt amazing during the whole photo shoot. It definitely wasn’t as boring or mechanical as I expected it to be. There was something different with every outfit set, and it all felt lively. When I saw the complete photos, it was like I was looking at pictures of someone else. Every picture was beautiful and so amazingly done, and not a single little detail was overlooked. I generally don’t like pictures of myself, but this was something else! I highly recommend Mayumi’s studio to anyone looking to get photos done; it’s wonderful for anyone in any occasion.
