AMAZING PEOPLE AND THEIR PETS | MODERN PET PHOTOGRAPHY IN SACRAMENTO CA

For many families, pets are part of their everyday life. Having a pet means that you have made a promise to continue being involved in another life. The routine of caring for a pet can bring structure and purpose to daily life. Maybe you don't always want to get out of bed, but your pet wants you to. Isn't that a good thing? 

Having a pet can bring so many good things to your life. They not only provide unconditional love and emotional support, they are an excellent companion and can help to reduce stress levels. A pet can even be your best incentive for social activity :-)  But, as good as pets are in your life, they don’t last forever, I wish they did! but they will die some day and then what will you have? 1000 photos in your phone with bad lighting and resolution that can’t even make a decent medium size print.  I know it’s fun to snap pictures of your furry friends with your smartphone when a cute or playful moment presents itself, but those aren’t the photos that you’re going to display. As much as you want to have beautiful portraits of your family, you should also want professional photos with your furry friend created with taste and grace, these are the kind of portraits that you will proudly display in your home. 

At Mayumi Acosta Photography we believe your pet is another member of your family and it should be included in your portraits. Regardless of the type of session, I always encourage my clients to bring their furry friends to the photoshoot. These two beautiful sisters and their adorable dogs and cat completed this gorgeous family portrait. 

Mary, a real estate agent who visited the studio for personal branding portraits brought her adorable girl Babette to have some portraits together as well. Aren’t they adorable?

Some of our high school seniors also decided to be photographed with their pets. I’m sure these images will become such a beautiful way to celebrate and remember this time of their lives.

We also had the joy to celebrating new beginnings for this lovely couple and their new poppy, baby Rusty :-)

A few months later they brought back Mr. Rusty to be photographed in the studio. Still adorable, Rust is not a baby anymore.
